Our story

Cocoa Beach Office

Founded by Cocoa Beach natives with a simple ambition: create the place to work, connect and grow that our hometown was missing.

The idea · A local need

A business home, without the hurdles.

The idea began with a move back from Orlando and a desire for a coworking space. Cocoa Beach didn't have one. Going from defense-contracting work, where space was part of the job, to running a business made that gap especially clear.

Traditional leases were expensive, hard to navigate and often meant taking more space than a small business needed. The wish for a local alternative stayed alive, but the properties weren't right: too small, difficult to reach or short on parking.

April 9, 2019 · Cape Royal

A small-office search became a bigger opportunity.

A search for an office of roughly 300 square feet led to Cape Royal. A large portfolio of offices was for sale in the building, including the entire second floor. The portfolio was purchased on April 9, 2019, creating the possibility of something much more than one small office.

December 31, 2020 · Room to begin

An entire floor. A fresh start.

During COVID, the defense contractor occupying the second floor ended its lease and moved out on December 31, 2020. With the whole floor available and a good layout already in place, the coworking vision could finally take shape.

Over the next few months came new doors, new floors and new paint, along with different office sizes, conference rooms and a welcoming reception area.

The community · Then and now

The demand was there. So was the possibility.

Within about six months after the remodeling, the space had filled up. Cocoa Beach had been ready for a coworking community, and early mastermind gatherings helped build the culture alongside the workspace.

That purpose still guides us: welcome the sole proprietor tired of working alone, the startup finding its footing, the growing business and the larger company. Create opportunities to collaborate, and let people at different stages of their business journey help one another along the way.

That shared welcome brings together professionals at every stage, from Cocoa Beach and nearby communities.

Before the workdays, there was the work.

What we believe

Different stages. Shared possibilities.

01

A place to belong

Working for yourself shouldn't have to mean working by yourself. A sole proprietor stepping out of the home office deserves the same welcome as an established team.

02

Room for different ambitions

A startup, a growing business and a larger company don't all need the same space. Different office sizes, shared workspaces and meeting rooms make room for different ways of working.

03

Experience worth sharing

Someone a few steps ahead can help you see what's next. We want people at different stages of business to exchange ideas, share what they've learned and help each other move forward.

04

Community, not just square footage

The offices were only the beginning. Conversations, collaboration and early mastermind gatherings helped turn a remodeled floor into a community.

The vision, built

An entire floor of possibilities.

What started as a search for one small office became a whole second floor designed for different ways to work: private offices, shared desks, meeting rooms and places to connect.

All our physical workspaces are together on the second floor of Cape Royal, 1980 North Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach.
