Coworking & Social Seating Membership Terms
Last updated October 19, 2026
In plain English
Coworking gives you a seat in our shared areas, first come, first served. Longer commitments cost less per month.
Contents
1. Member, order and shared access
These terms apply between Cocoa Beach Office ("CBO", "we", "us") and the person or business purchasing coworking or social seating at 1980 North Atlantic Avenue, Second Floor, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. Your accepted order identifies the member, any business payer, plan, included dates, fee and authorized user. The signer must be authorized for a named business. The plan grants shared workspace access, not a reserved desk, private office, residential accommodation or ownership of real property; mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
A day or week pass may be purchased as a guest. Monthly, six-month and twelve-month memberships require an account. Passes and credentials are personal; no sharing, resale or transfer without staff approval. A business buying access for multiple people must arrange access for each person.
2. Plans, dates and access hours
The current plans are $25 for a day, $95 for a week, $199 per month month-to-month, $179 per month for six months, and $159 per month for twelve months. Your accepted order and separately disclosed applicable taxes control the charge. A day pass covers its selected day, 8:30 AM–5 PM. A week pass lasts 7 full consecutive calendar days: pay for 5 workdays and the weekend is free. Starting Tuesday includes the following Monday and expires Tuesday. The included dates are shown before purchase; it is one payment, not an automatic subscription.
Monthly members receive 24/7 keyless access. Day and week users receive only the access hours and entry arrangements confirmed for their pass; a seven-calendar-day validity period does not by itself promise unstaffed 24/7 entry. Coordinate weekend access with staff. Staffed support is normally weekdays 8:30 AM–5 PM Eastern. Credentials are individual and must not be shared. No residential use or overnight sleeping is permitted.
3. Recurring terms and cancellation
Monthly and committed memberships are payable in advance on the invoice due date. Six- and twelve-month commitments keep the agreed monthly rate for their term; leaving early does not by itself cancel remaining obligations, subject to applicable law and any written early-release agreement. Month-to-month cancellation requires 30 days’ written notice. We send fixed-term renewal reminders; unless a different renewal is agreed or proper termination notice is given, service continues month-to-month at the applicable rate, not automatically for another six- or twelve-month commitment.
Send cancellation notices to the contact email below and retain a copy. Unused day or week passes are not transferable without approval and are nonrefundable once the first included day begins. No new pre-start cancellation penalty or recurring charge is created by these terms. If we cannot supply a paid service, we refund the affected payment; mandatory refund rights remain unaffected.
4. Seating and included services
Seats in coworking and social areas are unassigned and first come, first served. A particular chair, desk or location is not guaranteed; do not reserve seats by leaving belongings for extended periods. Social seating is shared professional workspace, not unrestricted event space. Included internet, refreshments, parking and other amenities are those listed in your order. Conference rooms, private offices, address service and mail handling are not automatically included; any expressly included allowance is still subject to its own booking and activation arrangements.
Take extended or confidential calls in appropriate areas, keep sound at a professional level, and leave kitchens, desks and lounges tidy. Guests need staff-approved access or their own pass where applicable; a membership cannot be shared through rotating guests. Remove belongings when leaving unless storage has been expressly agreed. Report damage or unsafe conditions promptly.
5. Payment, security and interruptions
Submitting signup details or accepting terms is not payment. A pending bank payment is not cleared payment. Fees, taxes and any additional service charges must be disclosed before purchase; discounts do not stack unless an offer expressly says otherwise. The existing Payments, Billing & Refunds policy applies, including the five-day late-payment rule and late-fee limit of the lesser of $25 or 5% of the unpaid balance, subject to law. Nothing waives your right to raise a billing dispute.
Follow the Acceptable Use & House Rules. Protect your belongings, devices and confidential information; keep your own backups and appropriate business/property insurance. Shared internet and equipment are not a guarantee of uninterrupted service or confidentiality between unrelated members. Maintenance or emergencies may affect access; staff will address affected service and applicable remedies rather than promising an unavailable seat or inventing automatic charges.
6. Responsibility, ending access and accepted terms
You are responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear caused by you or your guests and for third-party claims to the extent caused by your business activities or breach. You are not required to cover loss caused by CBO’s negligence or misconduct. Indirect or consequential losses are excluded only to the extent permitted by law; no mandatory liability, remedy or legal right is excluded.
Material breach may lead to suspension or termination with written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy where appropriate. Urgent safety or unlawful-use concerns may require immediate action consistent with law. Property is handled only as permitted by law. Your accepted order and these specific coworking terms control over conflicting general membership language or later website changes; a paid fixed-term price cannot be changed without agreement.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts serving Brevard County, Florida, and you consent to that venue.
Before filing any claim, both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days after written notice.
